Egypt’s *polypropylene (PP) market* faces oversupply after Oriental Petrochemicals restarted its 180,000-tonne/year PP plant* in 2024. A new *400,000-tonne HDPE/LLDPE plant* by ETHYDCO is set to further boost capacity .
